    Hello,

I am playing a Brass Sequence with Reverb. When a quick sequence of different notes are playing, the reverb of the previous notes are summoning and it sounds wrong. So I need to activate the Legato, right ?

From the script editor, I have set the Legato but I cannot hear any notes playing, even If I play from the virtual keyboard of the instrument (Legato_problem.png).
From the Source menu, I tried to change to set in "Tone Machine" to select the legato mode, but an error message occurs (Legato_problem2.png).

The instrument is Symphony Essentials Brass Ensemble

    Can you help me ?
Thank you, have a nice day.

Dependimg on the sample lib, perhaps disable reverb, and put reverb on a master bus. This way reverb is part of all the oberall sound, not being triggered on each note as you have it now, if that is what i think you are saying.

Hello, I thank you for your answer. But the problem is not due to the reverb. I tried with a single Trumpet from "Horns Session Pro" that has absolutely no reverb. And the Legato still doesn't work. Though with this instrument I have been able to choose the "Tone Machine" from the Source Mode, and activated the Legato, but there is absolutely no effects.

    So let's summarize :

    - When the legato is selected from the script editor, I cannot hear anything (legato_problem.PNG).
    - When the legato is selected from the source mode (Tone Machine), It doesn't work (legato_problem3.PNG). But it is not possible for all instruments (legato_problem2.PNG).

Session Horns Pro already have legato in the solo instruments at least, IIRC. You don't need to add it. (Top right corner, Voicing Assistant, choose Legato - see manual for more info about these modes.)

Besides, doing it with Tone Machine is not the way to go.

Hello EvilDragon, thank you for your answer.

I think the easier way to understand my problem is to listen to a short sequence I did in attachment (TransitionProblem.wav : I created .rar/.zip, depends what you are using). The instrument is "Symphony Essentials Brass Ensemble - Horns Essential".

The problem is in the transition of the 3rd/4th note. You can listen that the reverb of the 3rd note is summoning to the 4th note and the result is : it sounds wrong. What I want to do is : when the 4th note start, the 3th note stops !
So what is the best solution to solve this problem ?

Thank you, have a nice day !
    Best regards.
