    Hello,

Upgraded to Leopard. Installed several things....went just fine.

The problems are Boesendorfer, Hardcore Bass and EW Gold Orch. They authorized just fine using the service center, and oddly enough I can run the standalone Kompakt players perfectly but when I try to load the AUTHORIZED libraries in Kontakt 3 (so I could use them in Pro Tools), I get a window saying the library has NOT been authorized.

(Kontakt 3, Kontakt Player 2, Absynth 4, FM8, B4II and Galaxy II all work great!)

Any Idea what I can do here?

    Mac Pro 3.0 / OS 10.5.4 / 4GB Ram

    Thanks,
    Ron

Problem may be solved. Got this from tech support.

    Back...
I can not load my third party library into KONTAKT - (Mac)
In case you get the following error message:

"The content you are trying to load is not registered!"

Please make sure that your Library is installed and activated properly on your computer. If that is the case and you can load an instrument in the stand alone mode in the respective player (Intakt/Kompakt/Kontakt Player 1), but in KONTAKT it still does not work, please do the following:

Attached you'll find a file called Content.Plist (below in the Attachment section).
Unzip this file and put the resulting file into the following folder:
    • *Macintosh HD/~user~/Library/Preferences
If there is a file with the same name, you can replace it.
Now, please run KONTAKT and try loading the Library again.

Note!: The Content.Plist file in this Article is not the correct one for EastWest Hardcore Bass (HCB), for Hardcore Bass Pro XP this is the correct file though.
For HCB please see the Related Articles section below to get to the correct Article and File.

    This did resolve the issue.

Hope this helps some of you "Leopard" people out there.

    Best,
    Ron

    Hardcorebass still not working...

    Hi all,

it's not that important, but I was just trying to install Hardcore Bass (AND XP) on my new Mac Pro 8x2.8 (10.5.4).

I'm using Logic Pro 8.0.2, Komplete 4 and a couple of other virtual instruments, EWQLSO Gold, Ministry of Rock...

I now installed Hardcore Bass and the XP-Expansion. The Expansion worked instantly (I installed the content-file "patch" several weeks ago, all my other Kompakt libraries are working fine in Kontakt 2), but Hardcore Bass didn't work. (EDIT: "Work" means: I can load patches into KONTAKT2. Both KOMPAKT libraries do work in standalone mode, I also installed the updates of HCB and HCB XP).
Also with the HCB-content file it doesn't work, but as there are 2 different content-file-versions, I suppose it's not possible to do one file that works with HCB and HCB XP and all my other kompakt-libraries.
Well, I think I will continue using only HCB XP and wait for the announced PLAY-upgrade of HCB (XP?)...

Thanks, I'll read thru it. But as Hardcore Bass is less important for my work than EWQL Strings, I'll just let it be for now. Thanks again.
