Yo, got everything installed. Mind blowing sounds. I think I need 32 years just to scratch the surface!

So far, well worth the price. The 50% off price, that is. ;)

    BIF,
your experience so far? Did you get past the obstacles I stumbled upon as described in #11?

I have not yet been able to test that. Maybe tonight after work...

I have Gravity, Natural, and Vocalise. Would I find a lot of additional sounds in Aeon? I read one review that characterized Gravity as "Aeon on steroids" or something to that effect. If Aeon has a lot of different stuff, I'd probably pull the trigger.

I haven't bought Gravity because to me it looks like it only does pads/hits/stings. Is that not accurate?

AEON has instruments that span the spectrum: Guitars, organs, synths, pianos, brass, bass, bells, etc. I don't do any cinematic/scoring work, so at least what I've seen of Gravity doesn't appeal to me. But AEON melodic has something for every genre.

I don't use sequences, loops, or arps, so I don't use AEON Rhythmic at all. But AEON Melodic is my most-used Kontakt library for sure.

Yes, mostly pads, hits, and stings. But thank you, that is good information on Aeon. It sounds pretty wide and something that I would not mind adding. I think I will spring for it.

Hi, can anyone confirm that Natural Forces works without Gravity? The info on Heavyocity site is not clear. For vocalise it specifically states that it does not require Gravity but for Natural Forces it states that it uses Gravity's engine and does not state that it works without Gravity. Can anyone confirm?

    Many thanks in advance

I picked up the DM-307 and Vocalise the other day for their stellar 50% prices. I am thumbing over the tutorials and things, and it looks like everything is optimized for the 88 keys. I sold my S61 and I am patiently waiting for the S88 to go on sale (perhaps when K11U comes out as a bundle package). In the meantime I am on my Maschine Studio and the S25. I'm afraid I'll only get a portion of the awesomeness out of their plugins without the longer range on the keyboard. Are you guys using their plugins on shorter keybeds? If so, what are your recommendations/thoughts/experiences to maximize productivity?

    Thanks in advance.

I just bought Aeon. I guess I can't resist a sale! I use the S61 and Maschine Studio also, but I also have a Kurzweill PC88 that I use as a midi controller for hardware synths like the Roland Integra 7. I haven't tried that with Komplete or Gravity yet, there is only so much time in a day, or a life for that matter with these collections. But I think I will give that a shot in the next couple of days.

I'm like 99% sure that Natural Forces only requires Kontact. That's what I remember reading when I bought it. But don't depend on that, make sure you get something definitive from NI support. Good luck!

Thanks for replying Dessicant. I've asked NI support and am hoping they get back to me before the sale finishes:eek:)

I think they have pretty darn good support, but the system by which your sales are completed & your money taken = much faster :)

As I browse the resources, I can't help but realize that the online tutorials and manuals for these plugins (within the context of NKS and Maschine) is lacking, compared to their own products. I found more online when I purchased the entire Output bundle, to be honest. I'm sure it's on the list of things to come.

Wow, Aeon Melodic was a long download/install, like 20 minutes, must be lots of stuff! Rhythmic took like 45 seconds...

Yes, I had to let all the downloads run over night while I slept. :)

For the person who asked, I do believe vocalise will work without gravity. Unfortunately (but fortunately for me), I bought both and installed both so I can't really test it very easily.

According to this page their is no requirement of Gravity to use Natural Forces. The only requirement is that you have Kontact 5 Player or higher. http://www.heavyocity.com/product/natural-forces/
and of course the PC specs to support it.

I have Vocalize and it does work without Gravity.
