level meters not working

    whenever I try connecting a level meter to an output it shows and X where the wire connects and the yellow light turns orange.

    I followed a few tutorials online connecting level meters in the correct way but I always get this result.

    any ideas?

    a level meter is mono
    so try to make your output's module/macro mono
    or just insert an "audio voice combiner" (built in module/auxiliary) between the output and the level meter
