Hi, I am new to Traktor so I'm sure you will understand my lack of knowledge with it, I am used to the way I had my library set up with past software and was wondering if it is also possible in Traktor Pro?

I am not interested in this collection holder and enabling bpm lock, I have all my music in genre files so it's quicker to browse and just want to browse those files and have the tracks in those files bpm's visible.

    Is this possible?

I just want my tracks to have their bpm analysed in their respected genre folders, I have tried the silly bpm lock job via the collection holder but it does nothing.

I still can't analyse my tracks within their folders, I managed to do one folder then it suddenly stopped. I just want to keep it simple & analyse my music and get on with it.

You cannot analyse your files from the explorer node you have to import the files into the collection first and analyse from there.

If I were you I would goto each folder through explorer node and right-click-add to collection as playlist. That way you will have a traktor playlist matching the folders on your hard drive. Then you can analyse and play from there instead.

Oh and don't enable BPM lock before you analyse you only do this afterwards to prevent later analysis from changing the grid and BPM.
