My mate bought the old Traktor Scratch off a friend of his along with a A&H 92 and got a pretty good deal. He's a busy guy so didnt set it up for ages. I came round to set it up for him and get him started etc but it wouldnt let us register the product. So we know we have to transfer the license via fax etc from the previous owner but he has moved to the states and its all getting very drawn out. The question is if he has the audio8 and multicore cables & Control vinyls etc can he buy a Traktor Scratch Pro License that would be cheaper than buying the whole thing again?

Hmm the best outcome here is to have the seller fill out the transfer request.

The only Traktor Scratch Pro package available to you (if you dont transfer) is the Audio 8 owner upgrade which includes the timecode and TSP software.

It would be much cheaper if you can get the Original TS transfered because then you can just do the software upgrade.

The difference is something like 230 Euros.

Transfering is simple and quick. Email the form below to the Seller and he just needs to FAX it to NI.

    Hope this helps.

    Transfer of Ownership:

    Confirmation

I .............................. (please enter name and address) herewith confirm that I have sold and transfered my NI-product(s) .............................. (please enter product name) with the serial number .............................. (please enter serial number) to .............................. (please enter name and address).

I surrender all rights of use of the NI-product(s) to the buyer. Please delete my product registration so the new buyer can re-register it.

I affirm that I handed the original software over to the buyer and destroyed or deleted all copies of the Licence software as well as all pertinent documentations completely.

That would be because you have the delay and feedback parameters on your delay effect turned up way too high. :)
