Yep, I know it is discontinued. I know it will be 32 bit only, but... can I install Komplete 5 under Lion and use the Audio Units in Logic 9?

I ask it especially here as B4 is probably the one I use most from the entire Komplete package.

    Thanks.

Agreed! I will use it until it won't load on anything. This is the best organ sound available. I can't believe they think VO is an upgrade.

I must agree with Viv Savage, B4II is the best software organ clone period! Why oh why do the software guys decide they can do better? A vintage B3 is not going to be any different from when it was manufactured (albeit maybe a recap, motor o'haul et al) so why mess with the best? Please keep B4II updated to run on future mac OS so that those of us who love it and use it everyday can keep our favourite B3 on our recordings and playing live....killer through a real leslie!

PS: After looking at the advertising blurb for "Vintage Organs" I notice there are B3 and C3 clones. These two organs are supposed to be mechanically and sonically identical. The only difference is the cabinet. The main problem with cloning a B3 is that nearly all of them sound different. Over my 40 odd years of playing B3 and C3 organs I have yet to find two of them that sound identical. These organs were hand built and not all the builders used the same methods (i.e.whatever happen to be in the bin at the time) even though they were on a production line.

Unfortunately I have a feeling that there will be no official answer from the NI boys/girls. After all, we're almost a month down the road and they're declining to give an answer.

When I heard of B4's demise I have been looking for other B3 virtuals, so I guess I have to rely on VB3 as a replacement of B4. Too bad :( That means I will only use Kontakt and FM8.

Good thing I have an XK-1 for live work; after all where do you get a controller for the drawbars?

I use my Axiom 61 for the drawbar control and it works flawlessly. Make sure you get a controller with 9 sliders. I don't know of any that will replace my B4 at this point. :(
