Weird thing to start, I know, but I couldn't find a list on the internet of all koreline packs ever released

hmmm...on second thought, they may not have been Kore packs.

 

Nope, they weren't. The Komplete 4/5 ksd addon had koresounds for them though. Maybe the installer came with koresounds too?

There were synthetic drums examples in the free compilations 1&2. If you have these installed you have samples for these kits, if you download the Komplete 4/5 addons and open the Battery versions, you can save the Battery presets and use them in Battery outside of Kore, lol.

What's CM Extra Pack? The rest are Kontakt Packs right? They just added koresounds for the browser.

 

CM Extra Pack was on a Computer Music Magazine DVD.

There was nothing exclusive to the CM Extra Pack. It was 50 Kore Sounds comprised of a selection from Best of Absynth, Best of Massive, Best of Reaktor vol 1, FM Transients, Kontakt Retro, Massive Expansion 1, and Synthetic Drums reloaded.

 

What a great product. Are they still making it?

 

It's no longer bundled on the CM DVD - it was from late 2008 and was included for a few months.

PreSonus had bunded something comparable with StudioOne Artist for awhile - don't know if the still do, but audioMIDI.com has a 'No Brainer' special on the same as of this weekend. I *think* you register on the PreSonus website after purchase to gain access to the bundled content for StudioArtist One.

 

20 dollars, that's a good deal

 

Only downside is the Artist version doesn't allow external plugs. For that, need to upgrade to the Pro version which is an additional $99. Pro also includes other features including a project mastering suite, additional plugs and so on.

Pretty good deal considering I paid $299 on a cross-grade special from my previous DAW to get Pro. Version 2 should be out at the start of November.

 

If you have all the soundpacks for the full version of Kore, which of the soundpacks are the duplicates from that list? Kontakt Selection, Compilation Vol 1 and vol2 and anything else? I need to remove the Kore player as well just to cut down on the number of presets, almost 19,500...

 

There are Maschine Selection, Evolve Mutation and '57 Drawbar koresounds in Compilation 1 & 2. You'll have to remove duplicates manually

You can safely remove Kore Player and Kontakt Factory Selection.

 

Are there any uninstallers on Mac or do I just trash the KSDs in that folder?

 

No uninstallers. Kontakt samples are stored in seperate "compilation 1/2" folders though.

 

So is there a way to still get these packs somehow? Because they are all gone from the website... I need more. what do i do? Are these discontinued?

 

They're no longer available. You may find an occasional shop still selling the Kore Experience box which has a few packs in it. Otherwise, you'd need to find a user willing to sell or give their license to you for whatever packs you're interested in.

 

Nope, downloaded korepacks can't be resold.
