    PLEASE!!!!
DO NOT WRITE STEPS TO REPRODUCE OR DISCUSS ISSUES ON THIS THREAD, USE ANOTHER THREAD!

    PLEASE!!!
JUST PASTE LINKS HERE FOR ISSUES THAT HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED AS BUGS. THANKS!!!

To get listed on this thread....!

    1) You must update to the LATEST software via NI Control Panel. You must update all your apps.
    2) Please make sure your issue hasn't been listed here. If it is listed just post on the thread it links to. Job done.
    3) Create your own thread.
    4) On that thread please be very clear about the bug, it is best to write it in this format:

    Brief description/name of issue:
    Steps to reproduce:
    Observed behaviour:
    Expected behaviour:
    Maschine Version:
Plugin versions (if you are using them):
    OS:

    5) Await another person to validate the issue on that thread.
    6) Once everybody agrees post a link to that thread here. Please try to avoid posting until there is general consensus, don't argue about it here.
    7) Then I will link to the bug here.
    8) EVEN BETTER - Please contact NI Support and list the issue number here. If you don't tell them it might not get fixed.

Please note this list is unofficial I do not work for Native Instruments

THIS IS JUST A LIST AND NOT A DISCUSSION ABOUT BUGS! USE YOUR OWN THREAD FOR THAT!

    Many thanks...

The oddities by design don't seem to belong here if this is a bug thread. You could fill up 3 pages with those as there are much much more lol.

Yeah - I just can't let go... Maybe later ;) I've been careful to mark them as "not bugs". Maybe fork them off in another thread later...

Removed - Cakewalk Sonar bug. If a mod is reading this could they edit the title from "2.3.1" to "2.4.0"? Thanks.

I'm not trying to hijack this thread, but have you been keeping up with what Cakewalk has been up to recently?

What's the point of this bug thread when you could have sent these issues to tech support or keir/jonas? I'm having a hard time understanding the obsession with being on here almost everyday looking for random bugs, but you don't use the maschine software? That doesn't make any sense. I'm sure Keir or Jonas would send these issues to the maschine team.

Just submit a ticket. I had issues with the past version of kontakt. The north america team said the bug has been reported and was fixed in this current update. Support has been good in my experience in reporting bugs or other issues.

So you had an issue with Kontakt, and they "said" it was fixed, did you even check it ? If not then how do you know you had good support ?
Now lets look at this, Kontakt is their industry standard tool that a huge portion of the industry relies on and NI pretty much count as their pinnacle product, and they fixed a bug, wow, I am so impressed.
Now tell me how that compares to a product that NI has no interest in updating other than giving away free plugins and calling it an update, which has bugs that where reported the very day that v2 was released and are still in the program over two years later, hmmm, ermmm, hmmmm, oh wait, that's right, you are an idiot liar who makes up total nonsense to try and make his points valid, now i remember.

...is there a public list of confirmed bugs, so that we can see what's already been reported? I don't know if there is one tbh, but if not, I'd find a thread like this very practical for both us users and the support team. That way I could check, if something has been reported, hence I don't need to, and the same reports won't be sent to NI over and over again. I think it's a constructive effort that makes it transparent for everyone...

This is a public list. Assuming you mean a public list supplied by NI, that would be nice, it won't happen though until NI changes its internal culture (for instance interacting with customers in these forums like other companies do). The list above will only account for a small percentage of actual bugs which will be a trade secret.

...no, I was just asking, if something like this exists (as I don't know that). However, I don't demand something like this from NI nor do I think they're obligated to do this (or other things that are mentioned on this forum). I just think efforts of self-organisation such like this one you've initiated (or what a forum can be in general) are a very good thing. Skinswashdc asked about the purpose of this thread and I thought, I'd offer my perspective, about it being practical and constructive - that's all. But it wasn't intented as an assist to say what NI is and other companies aren't (or the other way around), so about all these things about secrecy and culture etc., I think you've pretty much summed it up in another one of your posts yesterday...:)
