listen to Audio application while running software

    I can not hear any sound coming from Audio application like youtube or sound programs while I am running Komlpete Kontrol mkII S88.
    Any explanation please ?? How can I over come this problem . I need to listen to songs while I am playing on Komlpete Kontrol

    What driver are you selecting???

    My guess is you are windows and are using possibly ASIO4ALL. Asio is a single application driver so when one application has focus of the ASIO driver, no other application can. A decent audio interface (USB attached) will offer a dual driver system so will allow ASIO for one application and WASAPI for the rest of your system.

    You could simply change your driver within Komplete Kontrol to use the WASAPI driver:

    Keep in mind though, ASIO is designed to maintain a solid audio thruput at low latency by bypassing the windows mixer so using the WASAPI driver will cause more delay and possible crackles and dropouts depending on the load
