live loop via machine

High im a reason user intrerested in machine as a live looping device for my reason sounds

thinking of machine as an mpc replicator i presume i should be able to run my reason audio into the machine program and then do loops with machine is this doable is this a primary function of machine

this is what i want machine to do

im not an NI user but do trust the quality of their prducts as of playing around with them before if you know about this please help thanks have a good day

 

Do you run Reason and Maschine at the same PC / Mac?
Then if you want to feed your audio from reason into machine you need a virtual audio cable.
Or you have to load Reason (via ReWire) and Maschine as a VST into third Sequencer which you use as your host then.

This way it should be possible to record loops with maschine directly from Reason.

 

Maschine - at the moment - does not do Live Looping, meaning Maschine will not do sampling and then play it back seamlessly and then overdub new Samples seamlessly.
you can Sample into Maschine and edit those samples very nicely, but it is not a live 'n' direct process.

if you want an NI product that does live sampling then Guitar Rig is a better bet.

Ableton 8 would do what you want to do.
