I've managed to install Battery 3 but for some reason, Ableton Live isn't seeing it in any of my drop down menus. I've set up the preferences to point to the right folder, but I'm not sure if Battery is being used as a VSTi or AU plug in.

In either case, there's one in the 'components' folder of my library/audio/plug-ins/ folder and one in the 'vst' folder.

Live doesn't see Battery and even if I open it on my own, Live still doesn't see. The two programs are blind to each other as Battery doesn't see anything in the Audio Routing preferences.

    any suggestions

I'm using a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.4.10, Live 5.0 (crackd) and Battery 3.0. Incidentally, I have protools installed on my mac, but it's not working at all, I'm planning to re-install.

p.s. I'm also discovering that Battery doesn't have a sequencer, is this correct? And does this mean that as a standalone, it can't do anything other than play samples?

    cool.. but no mpc...

Live 5.0 is meant to be used on PPC-Macs only.

Get a legal copy of Live and you'll be fine to upgrade to a version compatible with Intel-Macs (Universal Binary).
