live tuning of a whole group of samples on MK1-controller in 2.3?

Hola,
I recently updated to 2.3. Is there still a way to tune a whole group of samples via one of the encoders on my MK1 controller and record this movement? Could´nt find it anymore so help is much appreciated! Thanks!

 

I think it's a bug.. I am using Maschine Studio and I can no longer edit multiple samples at once since the 2.3 update

Haven't tried this. Just some thoughts which may/may not nail it down...

I am assuming (rightly or wrongly) that you are demonstrating your own custom samples?
How were they samples created originally via Maschine or another sampler?
Has this gone through another audio editor before it arrived in Maschine?
Do you get this issue in other scenarios? i.e. factory presets?
Everything up to date in control centre?

I have software that converts mp3 to wav, and I have been using it over a year with Maschine. I am not doing anything different then I normally do, it's just an issue I have had since the 2.3 update. I am not alone though.. there are people who are experiencing the same thing.

Do you get this issue in other scenarios? i.e. factory presets.

What happens if you use direct sampling via Maschine itself? (This should rule out external factors).

If there's a bug it would be helpful to see if it's under specific conditions or not.

Yea everything is updated in the service centre, and the same issue happens with factory presets, not allowing me to edit multiple samples at once. It's frustrating. Users have their suggestions.. but we can't fix a bug that is a result of an update. N.I has to release a fix

 

OK so if I test tomorrow recording brand new samples via Maschine's internal sampler I should be able to reproduce this I assume?
If that's confirmed I'll have a go.... Cheers.

I don't think NI or anyone could reasonably expect you to do much than you already have about this! It does seem to be a bug, albeit controller-only as it does not happen when using the mouse to change the parameters (e.g., tune, reverse, sampler's built-in filter). This was with a random factory Group.

And an "FYI", @CakeAlexS, it's Service Center, not "control centre". Just for future reference and to avoid possible confusion.

Can confirm M-chops' bug, very frustrating indeed!

 

Confirmed here. The bug affects all multi select as I could not go to channel and pan all sounds properly. For the pan, it seems to work panning all the way right but when you return back to center only the selected pad follows. Other sampler parameters are affected too of course.

Basically, multiselect is broken.

For tuning use quick adjust for now by holding the group and rotating jog.

 

I am having this same issue and have since I first installed about a day or so after the release. The same thing happens when I try to multi-select and with from "one-shot" to adsr mode, i.e. only most recently touched pad switches despite that all pads are apparently selected. This is absolutely killing my work flow.

 

Also, can somebody explain the group quick adjust technique as per the MK2 and not studio? Thanks!

I was able to reproduce this as well, and have begun researching this with my colleagues. It appears that
using the Multi-select feature in Maschine 2.3 causes a number of issues. We will be logging an issue with
our developers once we understand the extent of the problem.

In the mean time, if this feature is critical to your workflow, I recommend downgrading to Maschine 2.2.4
via the following link. Just type 'Maschine' in the search and you will find the 2.2.4 update.

hoping for a quick update too, because I can´t work with Maschine anymore and I won´t downgrade.
