Ok I am quite frustrated with this. Please help..

I opened a kit inside Ableton Live and then I made some changes on the reverb, delay, compressor, lo-fi, etc. for some of the cells. Then I saved the kit and also the automation/controller map.

Here is the problem: I load the kit and hit the spacebar in order for Live to start playing. Then if I hit the spacebar a second time to stop the audio, my "bits" settings (under lo-fi) are automatically set to 1.0 for all the cells! Why the hell is this happening? Every other change I made appears to be fine.

Been trying to solve this for so long, it's driving me nuts. Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks in advance.

Is this only in one project within ableton? Have you checked for some events which are triggered in Ableton? (But I think this can't be the problem, for it should also be triggered when you hit the spacebar for the first time.)
Which version of Battery and Live are you using? Have you set up any Midi or Keyboard Shortcuts (not sure what's it called in English - the option to trigger events with the keyboard) in Ableton which are then sending to B3?

    Thank you for the response.

I'm using Battery 3.2.2 and Live 8.2.2. And no I didn't use any automation..

Weird thing is I loaded another kit, changed the bits section and it all worked fine. It only happens to that specific kit. Must have been a bug or something, hope it won't happen again.

I solved it by recording it to an audio channel, couldn't find anything better solution..

Have you tried using this specific kit in a different / new Live File? Just to make sure, that there is no controller data saved within the kit.

    Sorry I've just seen this.

Yes, same thing happens if I start a new project and hit the stop button. Again, when I load the kit everything in the selected cells is fine.

One more piece of info: when I load the kit, in the rest of the cells the bits are set to 1.0 even though the Lo-fi section is inactive.

Just to do some further testing, I also activated and deactivated the Lo-fi section in all of the cells, but still when I press stop the bits return to 1.0! Hertz are unaffected. So weird..

Alright. I've looked into that again and tried to reproduce this. But I could not find anything. Guess you need to talk to someone at NI if you wanna find out what is going wrong.
Is it possible sending me your kit? I can't open the Live Set because I only have version 7.

I don't know why I'm not getting notified about this thread.. instant notification selected, subscribed to the topic.. anyway!

Ok then I'm sending you the kit and its automation file (.b3a), although loading the automation doesn't seem to make a difference..

The samples of interest are bass drum 1, bass drum 3 and snare 4. Although you can see my issue even if you only locate and load bass drum 1.

Thanks for helping me out mate!

PS: Excuse me if it's a bit messy, but it's the first time I try to send a kit along with the samples and everything :D

I just checked your kit and I can't reproduce your issue. Tomorrow I will have a closer look at the kit and will load it on a friends PC in your version of Live. Catch you later.
