Is it possible to load recycle (.rx2) files into Maschine+ in standalone mode?
The Maschine 2 manual does say you can import rex2 but does not specify how it can done from the controller. I can do it from the file browser, but this is not an option when using controller or when using Maschine+ standalone, no computer.

Shame, as some Machine expansions actually do contain .rx2 files. Maybe in future enhancement.
Does Native Instruments have any format that allows saving a sample with slice information? One that can be loaded into a sound already sliced and with a pattern that sequentially plays the slices?

Would loading the rex files and then saving the Group (which includes the Patterns) not suffice?

yes i guess thats almost the same thing. Although it resets all sounds on the other pads in that group. But I guess one can always load it in a new group and then copy the sound and the pattern over to an existing group.
    Thanks or the tip!

I tried this today, but actually it doesn't work for me.
I opened the rx2 file in a new group in the Maschine2 software. The rx2 sample can then be played over the pads in keyboard mode, and a pattern is also created.
I then saved the group (with samples) and then copied the mxgrp along with the samples folder over to the Machine+ SD card.
When I open the group from Maschine+ standalone, it loads the groups and the pattern, but doesn't load the sample.

Same process but using a wav file instead of the rx2 works just fine.

I also noticed that the Maschine expansion kits that use rx2 also do not work properly on maschine+ standalone.
For example the Resonant Blaze - EZ Breaks Kit.
When loaded in Maschine2 software, I get pre-chopped parts in the sampler that can be played over the pads in keyboard mode and patterns also get loaded.
In M+ standalone the EZ Breaks Kit sounds don't use the sampler engine, and instead get loaded the audio engine in time stretch mode. The patterns also do not get loaded. Even if I then switch back to sampler engine, the chops are not there.
