    Hi,

Does anyone know whether it would actually help to reduce latency if I moved my samples to a 16Gb USB 2.0 jump drive?

    Thanks in advance,

Never mind. I followed NI's advice on loading the samples to a USB 2.0 external drive (it was taking WAY too long to copy them to the jump drive), and I was able to reduce my latency setting in half (Behringer FCA202 FireWire interface). The external drive will show occasional bouts of sustained transfer, but the sound never even hiccups now!
