When you save your instrument or Multi, Kontakt creates a folder and puts all the samples into it (by default). Just edit the sample (with Kontakt closed) and re-open the instrument in Kontakt; the samples will be reloaded.

    why this?

What if one does not want to save ..?
Say I load a sound (Sound a) on C1..and decide I do not like to use it but prefer to use (Sound b)..I gotta save it then do all this?

    Re: why this?

If I understand you problem correctly what you do is that in the Mapping editor you delete the zone you don't want. Then you drag the sample file you want from the file window into the mapping editor and put it where you want. You may have to adjust the root key but except for that this should solve your problem.

    Kind regards,

    Soren

    That is stupid

You mean there is no REPLACE SAMPLE..That is so stupid..
I gotta say Halion does that easy and gives individual outs to any sample..Filters are cool in Kontakt and all but weird ass /complicated way of working sometimes..
