Loading track causes opposite deck to stutter (Xone 4D, MBP)

I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to latency, but I'm experiencing glitches at the lowest and the highest latency settings. When I add random tracks, I can see the CPU meter spike to the red. The only function traktor is doing upon loading the track is resetting the deck controls, and even without doing that it still ****s up. I run traktor at 96k.I cannot perform or record anything until I resolve this, and I really don't want to have to go back to old traktor. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I had exactly the same problem. Try disabling multi-core support, it fixed it for me. I tried every tuning tip I could find, but nothing worked.

Also download Advanced System Care from Cnet. It keeps your system running smoothly and has a boost function that you can start before you use traktor, that stops a lot of background program's running.

    Hope this helps, Damian

Wow it's been a while since I've been on here; I apologize for not getting back sooner...

Anyways, I took a hiatus from dj'ing to focus on school for a bit, but now I'm ready to get back at it. For some reason I can no longer find the box for muti-core processor support. It's like it's missing from my traktor preferences all of a sudden, or maybe I'm not looking in the right place. I've thoroughly searched every tab, and even did an update and I cannot find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also, I'll have to look into that software suggested, sounds like something I could use.

I was wondering why when I loaded tracks I was getting stuttering on CDJ400's but just adjusted the latency and I thinks it has fixed it. I had a MAYA 44 usb before just getting an A10.

I've played with the latency and had no luck. I think turning the latency up made things a bit better (I think turning it up is the right way, sorry I'm a noob to adjusting this stuff). But I still cannot find the multi-core processor support, was that in the old traktor...is this the correct forum?

ugh..I just need this fixed before my next gig and I'm worried that I'll lose my cue points and beat grids if I switch back to the old traktor. Any advice is appreciated.

you only loose beat grids, cue points etc..if going from traktor 2 to traktor 1, if you stay with in version 2, all versions of traktor pro 2 will read the grids and cues etc...
