Locking Patterns in Arrangment

It would be good if there was a preference to lock the arrangement patterns, so if for example you have completed arrangement but you decide to switch out a drum kit for something else the drum kits change but the patterns keep their place.

If there are not corresponding patterns then it would default to pattern 1.

This would gives loads of fast flexibility to kits later on in the creation process

 

if you are searching for a new drum kit in the kits section of the browser you have these buttons at the bottom. Clicking them will let you persevere the midi of your drum kit while just changing out the samples.

 

Mason is right. From what I understand the patterns are a group level item, but if you replace a sound or even the group (and don't have the +pattern option enabled) your pattern should be retained. If you delete the group instead of replacing it though the patterns will be lost with it.
