So does anyone else have this problem?

I'm running the Junatik instrument within reaktor session, and when I press 'play' in Logic, the 'level' control goes to zero. I can't find a way to fix it. I thought it was my midi controller, which seemed to be defaulting to control the level slider with midi control 001, so I changed my midi controller to send out 092 or something, but still the Junatik, when I press 'play' goes to zero output level

Yes, I had that exact problem several months ago, but I was using Logic 5.x and Dynamo 1.03. Hit play in Logic, and the output slider jumps to zero.

If I remember correctly, my workaround was to simply give up and use another VSTi.

Actually, there's a better solution: open Junatik, and double click on the level fader to get its properties. On the connections page of the properties, simply uncheck "Activate MIDI In" -> problem should be solved!

If you save the Junatik ensemble, then it will always remember the change you just made.

Please feel free to ask me if that doesn't work.

    Best,

    Jake

    I personally prefer my solution.

It took fewer steps, freed up a huge amount of processor power, and Logic remembered my VSTi settings with the song.

It's your sanity you're playing with...

    shatterglass,

Have you tried Reaktor Session? Because it's really not fair to compare Dynamo with RSession - Session has about three years of work invested in it!

    Take care,

I wasn't comparing the two, other than pointing out that despite three years of work, Junatik in Reaktor Session displays the exact same peculiarity it did in Dynamo.

No, I haven't tried Session. I'm still waiting for Dynamo 1.04 to deliver what the manual says version 1.0 will do: batch processing, keyboard incrementing of parameters, Logic environment, etc.
