I'm brand-new to both Mac and Logic, so it's likely I'm overlooking something stupid. In Logic, I can't get it to acknowledge that Reaktor even exists, though it's installed and activated. I create a multi-timbral software instrument, with "Open library" not checked, then click on the i/o button to see the plugin list. Reaktor is nowhere to be seen. In Logic's Audio Units Manager, Reaktor doesn't show up.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks,
    Bill

    1) Have you run Reaktor in standalone? If not, do so and check that your library paths are correct in your preferences (you should do this anyways). Afterwards, reboot. Now, rescan your plugins.

    2) If you're on an IntelMac, are you using at least 5.1.2 (and preferably the most recent 5.1.5)? Earlier R5 versions weren't UB, and hence the plugins won't show up.

    3) Reaktor isn't multitimbral by default.

Ah, of course. It was a 5.0 version of Reaktor. Downloading the update now. Thanks!

Logic is happily making Reaktor sounds now. Thanks again!
