Logic 8 Preset Selection

I am new to this program, so maybe the issue is not new but I have noticed that I can't select a preset within the heirarchy structure of Elektrik Piano. I can press + or - and get something to load.

 

Actually, there is a conflict with NI plugins and Logic 8 that makes it tricky to access presets (in any NI plug that uses a pop down window).

That being said, you still should be able to access the presets. Try holding down a bit longer (over the File button) and then without letting go, drag the mouse up and/or down. At first it seems like it's not going to display, and then it will.

FYI - Tech support sent me a note as they are awaiting a copy of Logic 8 from Apple to test things on. Hopefully an update for Logic is forthcoming soon.

Thanks for the advice. If I click in the right way and hold it for a few seconds, I can get to the presets.
