made my first track with maschine mk2, everything was fine...i shut down...come back next day to open file and get the spinning beach ball. for 40min! [i waited that long cuz i was HOPING i didn't lose that one...it was good]

scene consisted of only three tracks. 1 maschine, 1 massive and 1 audio track. some eq and 4 plugs. 2 reverb, gain and dynamic compression. THATS IT.

has ANYONE had an issue with a scene currupting for NO apparent reason? if so or if you may know....CAN I RECOVER IT and HOW?

    thanks in advance.
os x 10.8.2, motu ultra lite 3, maschine mk2, mduw.

Never had this. Contact tech support, send them any crash logs you have. Over there <<<

You ran Massive standalone before opening it in Maschine for the first time, right?

also, i presume you ran Maschine in Standalone Mode before using it as a plugin in Logic?

Have the same issue with Logic project not loading / Spinning Ball of Death

I permanently have this issue with Maschine as a plugin in Logic Pro (9.1.8, 32bit), Mac OS 10.8.2 and Maschine software 1.8.2 on my MBP 17" 2011.

I isolated the problem my removing the Maschine Plugin from Audio Components ("System Disk:Library:Audio:plug-ins:Components:Maschine.component"), loaded the song which was corrupted and it loaded everything well, except the Maschine plugin of course. But at least this is a way not to lose your entire track and the Maschine MIDI is obviously still present in the project.

Sometimes, by the way, it's possible to open one of Logic's backup files. Interesting to see that the backup files make a sudden jump in size before the project goes to hell.

This is a serious issue and I seriously hope this get fixed with the next release.

if you are getting this issue, please send your Logic project to NI's tech support along with your Maschine Project.

as yet, i have not had this problem.

it would be good to understand the difference between a Logic Project, that loads up and one that does not.

do you actually save your Maschine Projects or just save the Logic ones?

I'm having the same issue. I have sent a request to NI support.

If anyone has a fix sooner, please let me know.

I'm not sure how I can get a different component file - perhaps that would fix this?

I have had the same issue, it only happened once and luckily though I wasn't too far into the project. I have to say I have switched over to another machine that is not running Mavericks, part of why I think there are so many issues right now.

I have this issue consistently running logic 9 with machine v1 software on an osx macbook pro. I'd take it to one-to-one appointments at the mac store, and the logic tutor was really knowledgeable about DAW systems, and he basically said what other dudes have said on here… really all you can do is go into the logic project backup files, starting with the most recent and going backwards till you find a version that will open.

There are some other work arounds, because usually it works fine till you try and re-open. I typically get what I want on the machine track, bounce it to an audio track, then freeze out the machine track or just delete the plugin from the project entirely after bouncing.

I just upgraded to maschine 2.0 so hopefully it will work better.
