    "In principle, Native Instruments supports all important plug-in formats. Audio Units are an important theme for us. We see Audio Units as the most important plug-in format for Macintosh in the future, and are therefore working hard to make the first Audio Units-compatible products available at the beginning of 2003.

    An essential advantage of Audio Units is the excellent integration into the operating system. Once installed, all programs can access an Audio Units plug-in simultaneously. Those who develop music software for Mac OS X will simply not get around Audio Units."
