this started as an experiment in different avenues for updates or revisions for my recent machine, chowning machine. it kind of turned into something quite different. it is not ready for the UL, and one of the versions of it maxed out at like 7% cpu, (minus modulation system). anyway thought some might enjoy this, it does complement chowning machine well, and as always i would not mind comments or suggestions or critiques. thanks as always and enjoy. also i noticed that i use the min/max macros from rachmiel quite often, these are great if you dont know them check them out.

for some reason i am not able to upload pics or zips of this.(been going on for two days now) basically my manage attachments is acting strange. it all appears to be fine i hit upload, and than there is an error message in german. anyone else having this problem. tried on my pc with firefox, and the mac with safari. NI any suggestions?

Hi Joshua! I'm curious to see it. How much is the size of file? You can use any upload server (sendspace.com for example).

    Nope.
It's probably an issue for the Website sub-forum.

Joshua, I couldn't upload file, no matter how hard I tried. I was trying to rename it and make other extension, but nothing helped. It seems to me that uploading large .zip files causes some problems.

However, thanks for sending me this very interesting ensemble! I really think it's quite good addition to your previous work, as well as separate ensemble - it looks the same, however it makes totally different sounds - ambient textures, effects and interesting synths. I would like to do few snaps like for previous ensemble, but some short tutorial, like you've posted in your previous thread, would be nice. Would you be so kind to describe it a bit?

    Regards,
    Aleks.

aleks here is the newer version of it. a little lower cpu, (due to switches, unfortunately), some other fixes/refinements. as stated this started as attempt to try to figure out how to lower the cpu of chowning machine, and figure out update paths for it. so i started rebuilding chowning machine, adding this here, removing that there, and what not. honestly the inclusion of the wave wrap and wave fold really kept me interested in this sounding much different in the early stages. i also was curious about replacing the loop effect from scenario as i think this is something that is not that popular in all reality. (this is a topic unto itself in my mind). i was trying to switch out fx primarily from the rb macros sets, and also trying to build some simple ambience type fx. anyway this is what came out of an attempt to figure out upgrades for chowning machine, so at its core it is similar. (hence the cousin label) . Aleks basically this is the fm operator run through the following fx chain: fold->wrap->nazty (CList)->chorus->comb filter-> space->pro52 LP filter->delay->level->out. as i write that i wonder about the placement of that filter. but anyway for the time being, the idea is that there is one fm operator with the option of being triggered from either of the sequencers, freshmaker seq or roux seq, it than goes through the chain mentioned. additionally the modulation section at the top is just the modulation sources section. the drop-down menu below each parameter is its modulation source. as you noticed aleks this is more in the vien of ambience, fx, and just generally longer sounds. honestly it is in my mind a little to similar to chowning machine, but than i play with it and get different sounds, so who knows. be careful as always. the qualms presently lie in the heavy use of fx and the similarity to chowning machine which kind of in some strange way invalidates it as an upload for the ul to me, is that strange or not? hmmmm

thank you NI for the fix. Aleks use this version as it has a few random improvements, and some of the gui elements from horuschilds recent uploads, (thanks Jonathan), Reaktor Ready. Enjoy Aleks, and whoever else wants to play.

Joshua, sorry, didn't have much time to check all these stuff you posted and wrote yes, I'm going to do it todays evening or on weekends. I won't forget about snapshots as well. It works good for me in Logic, don't know what's up with FruityLoops.
