    Hi,
I'm playing at a party on june, and my customer ask me to finish the set with the classic music "The End", as we heard in old MGM or 20Th Century Fox movies

Is there anybody here, who know where I can fin this tune : iTunes (on French Store, nobody's perfect  ) ?

Are you sure he's not talking about the John Carpenter electro classic "The End"?

Maybe he/she means the short bit of orchestral music at the end of those old movies when they show the text "The End". Not really a song?

    You're Right

    It's exactly what I mean :D
This short ending music, with the word "The End" to signify that you can go out of the cinema
Hope that guests shall understand the same...:S

And the place where I can find this little precious thing is... ?

    Thxs

Alfred Newman was the original composer of the 20th Century Fox "Fanfare." This link has the newer version. I know this was always at the beginning, but I don't know about the ending for certain.

    There's actually a website called closinglogos.com
Some people have too much time on their hands...
Wait, I just searched for closinglogos.com and posted about it on a DJ forum... I have too much time on my hands.

(Oh, and the MGM closing is the Lion's roar. His name's Leo.)

    The beginning not The End

Thank U very Much, Rasmuffin (like Ragga or just a piece of cake :p !)
I soon found this music on iTunes, named 20Th Century Fox Fanfare
But, End Titles was always attribute to a particular film...

Does it mean that there's no standard music to illustrate "The End" ?
In my old memory, it seems that there were always a special music for that, and always the same...but maybe I merge :S ?

    Fantastic

    You're a Genius :) !
    That's it !
The only detail I don't like is the duration 10 seconds only

But this is exactly the soundtrack I searched

I've found the end music of Wizard Of Oz on iTunes, and maybe I use it, cause it's during 20 seconds

    Thank U very much Rasmuffin
Don't hesitate to ask me something about "French" Tunes

    Have a Nice Day
