Loop activated by default

Is there a way to have the loop function for each deck activated by default? So whenever I load a track to a deck, it automatically loops a specific duration?
I notice when I load 8 bar loop files the loop function is automatically activated which is cool for certain things but I am wondering if this can be done with longer song files. Thanks in advance.

 

In prefs under transport section you can set the loop detection size.

also you could map a key or something to the loop active command and the first loop (that is saved in the file) in the track will activate when it reaches it. you could also just click it with the mouse.
It is the green button in the software that says "active"
