You need a bigger screen to get them to show up.

Blimey, I use a 15-inch screen already, how big a screen does one need?

Maybe you're using a low resolution? Without seeing your entire Traktor layout it's hard to judge, but I'm pretty sure they show up on my 15" screen.

There's another thread on this (https://support.native-instruments....Section?page=1#community_comment_360000381618) that shows that NI is aware that this is happening and the engineers have decided to leave it the way it is rather than restoring visibility.

The workarounds are to 1) unclick the eq & fader to make it visible, 2) unclick the "Filter + Key + Gain + Cue + Balance or 3) map the Loop In-/Out assignments to your computer keyboard. If you find this as unacceptable as I do, let's raise a bit of hell and lobby for the restoration of the visibility of the in/out buttons or the option to choose which buttons are visible in that line.

It shows up on my 27" monitor at home. Totally useless on my 15" screen on the road.

I returned Traktor 3 and got my money back. I'm staying with Traktor Pro2 as I find the keyboard solution unworkable in my situation. I too loop manually and often over 32 bars.

I had the same issue with my full HD (1920×1080) display.
I use the recommended Windows 10 settings of 150% UI scaling so that app menus are legible.
For Traktor Pro, however, 125% would work better since the interface was not designed with any provisions for handling overflowing items.

The workaround I found was to edit compatibility options on the Traktor Pro shortcut.
Press start, search for Traktor, right click or unfold the item's menu, open the shortcut's location.
Right click on the shortcut, properties, compatibility tab, edit for all users, HiDPI settings, check replace HiDPI scaling at the bottom and select application scaling.
No scaling is actually done, so the interface will be tiny, but for now this is the only way to get back loop controls.
Browser view can be made legible again through "Browser details" preferences (defaults are 14pt and 21px), the rest of the UI will need squinting, preferences are particularly dense and hard to read.

The proper fix by Native Instruments would be to let the HiDPI scaling factor be selectable from Traktor's preferences; this is what Adobe apps do for example.

You can also loop tracks that are not necessarily 4/4 so you can make a 5 beat loop for example. The S4 MK3 does not have loop in/out buttons so maybe this is why it is not visible on some smaller resolutions.

Exactly, tbh this is a rather insulting question from a moderator. NI suggesting people disable other functions is like saying 'Hey I know we cut off one of your feet but if you cut off the other you can swap it over'. Either way you're crippled and this was supposed to be an 'upgrade'.
I've been using Traktor since....Final Scratch and before but looking at other dj apps recently I'm thinking 'Really? They have that?'.

Yeah, Using my 13" MacBook in the 'More Space' setting in the 'Resolution' setting then using Traktor in the 'Extended' screen view gets my 'In/Out' tabs back. One setting up in Resolution also show the in/out, however some of the right channel gets cutoff.

Where do you see this option? I'm on a 13'' Macbook and can't find it.

Go into your Mac’s setting under ‘Displays’. Choose the screen sizes to see more or less of the traktor layout.
