Id like to see looping-modes, like most hardware samplers have. Instead of just turning the looping on or off on page 2 of edit you should be able to set the loopmodes, or play-direction. Usually these are forward, reverse or(most importantly) alternating which is alternating between reverse and forward starting with reverse.

These modes are quite essential for creating nice decays on pads and hits that are too short and give you that classic tremolo effect. The crossfade-function just isnt enough imho(albeit nice...)

Agreed. Alternating loop would be awesome.

So simple, so standard in all hardware-samplers, and so broadly used... It was somewhat surprising to me it wasnt allready implemented. Specially since there is no timestretch yet and this is one of the main tricks to stretch without timestretch :)

the very reason I came in here!
    simple function but so effective.
    instant circling pads....
if my S900 from 1986 can do it...

Also the ability to manipulate sample loop points in real time is one of the tricks of the trade in making a lot of glitch and experimental electronica music.

Oh i remember my magic Akai S612 with its hardware slicepoint-sliders, if only...

    :)

But alternating is just essential, really

I agree, multiple loop mode/playback options are needed.
