looped auto record

i like having little jam sessions wit my maschine while i am producing. often times my maschine is just looping and I'm noodling away trying to figure out what i want the next pattern to be. Co-incidentally i have also discovered i play things more fluidly if i don't have to stop and and hit record to line up the pattern. it would be really cool if, while the Maschine is looping play back if it could be set to auto record every other loop-back or every to loop backs and if it will make a pattern on its own. piggy backing off of this, if all new patterns could be open length until recording is finished, or have an option to, that would be great too.

 

A suggestion which promotes a spontaneous way of creating with Maschine?
