i've been trying to do what richie hawtin does in his videos, looping multiple tracks and getting all crazy then hitting one button and everything is right back on. Everytime i try this though, the tracks are a little off when i come out of the loops but seem to sync back up after 10 seconds...can someone direct me on how to do this or point me in the right direction. I've been reading stuff on djtechtools.com, and tried mapping phase sync to loop out for both decks. thanks for any help.

if you use a controler, you need to configure a doublemacro

    #1 loop on/off
    #2 sync

how does one map a double macro? richie keeps talking about it but never tells us how to do one. if i understand correctly a double macro is having one control do two separate things (together) right?

a double macro is just 2 controlls to 1 button.

if you know how to set 1 controll to 1 button, do it for a second time with a different controll & the same button.

if you don't know this i would like to advise you to read the manual :)

right! you configure a button for looping, and also the same button for sync.. thats it! then you can start a loop, mess everything up, and when you turn the loop off, it´s in sync again!

If i just loop them, they stay in sync. But when i try to do a crazy loop thing on both tracks things arent in sync for a few seconds when i come out of it.

if the loop gets too small, sync shuts itself off, that seems to be where the problems start. if i dont make my loops too small and sync stays on things are still in sync when i come out of the loops.

i have a double macro on loop active and sync for both tracks...is that what everyone else is doing ? and having success?

think quantize and snap must be off and must play with phase sync on the buttons.
