This was almost a deal breaker for me, but having thought about it, having the ability to tinker with mixes endlessly has often made doing them a labourious process...plus, the imperfections I edit out are often small errors with FX/EQ control, and looking at the way Pro has been revamped in these areas (esp. the 'one knob' FX feature) these are going to be less likely...so I suppose I can say bye bye to the NMX feature with no regrets...

    ...where's that demo?

Just to clarify again, NMX will be re-implemented in a future update.

    It's not gone for good.

    Are you friggen kidding me!

Wow, glad I read this before I jumped on the bandwagon.... I typically will do my radio sets in several sessions, especially when I'm on the road and don't have time to bang out the full 2 hour mix. In the latest version of TDJS nmx recording has finally become stable! Now I'm faced with an upgrade that who's real only new offer is GUI and FX updates... for 100+ USD? Wow... I'll be sitting this one out for a while to see what happens.

The best part about nmx was the load it took off conventional audio hd recording. I record my gigs all the time and it's all internal, the music is pure and I can review what cool stuff might have come out of my mix, later on (like mashups to re-construct in an ableton production).

I understand that it may be put back in a future update, but still, bad move on NI's part IMO.
