Lost collection, now can't import older versions of collection

A week ago I opened the program a day after a successful gig and then Traktor said something in the lines of "collection is corrupted, making a new one" and then all of my playlists were gone, but my tracks were there.

When I try to import an older version of the collection it feezes. I have tried different collections but the outcome is the same.

It has happened to me before but then I could just import an earlier version of my collection and all would be fine.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Is there a way to fix this? And how can I avoid this happening?

No I didn't. As I said I just finished the gig and then closed traktor, then shut down the pc. In the morning I open traktor and all was lost.

I fixed it by saving the native instruments folder in "documents" library and then totally removing traktor from my pc, Then I installed 2.7.1 instead of 2.10 and then used the collection and setting files I had saved to recover everything.

Maybe the 2.10 buld is not stable yet

 

This sounds similar to the problem I had when I seemed to lose all my playlists. I am running 2.8 though and never resolved it

it doesn't freeze , it reads and converts things , you have to let it run and it will take a while to finish importing .

 

you may find a backup of your collection on your pc
