I can't seem to open my Akoustik Piano on my desktop.

Error message: AP can't find instruments in library location. Make sure path points to correct location. Look above the presets folder.

I don't know where to look to repair my software. I tried uninstalling the program but there was something missing that wouldn't allow that either.

Last week I installed an internal DVD burner. It changed my lettering of my drives. My primary HD is C, secondary is E, and DVD burner is D. Might AP be looking for the D drive which used to be my secondary drive. (that is where my libraries for AP are located)

Yep, that's it. For how to change your drive letters back:

Go into device manager and right click on your DVD drive and choose uninstall. Say OK to the warning that it will be removed.

Now, before you reboot, go to Control Panel/Administrative Tools. Go to computer management, and then disk management. Right click on your drive's name that your AP library's on and change the letter to D.

Now, close out of Control Panel and reboot. Your DVD drive will reinstall itself, and it will be E

Before I changed the drive numbers like you recommended I just clicked on my E drive's AP folder and it seemed to find what it needed when it was looking around for the libraries. So my Akoustik Piano is working again.
