    Hi

Just set up Traktor Scratch Duo on my 2 x technics 1200 + Urei 1620LE Mixer last night.

Everything is working fine, however there is a loud high pitched whine from one deck whenever I play the Traktor vinyl on it.

Is this simply an issue as that is the sound the piece of time coded vinyl plays.

Or is it due to the my mixer set up

Or could it possibly be improved by checking the tone arm of the deck and cart/stylus position.

Any help would be much appreciated

The High Pitched Noise is probably the Timecode leaking on your Mixer.

If you are using the multicore cables, make sure that the outputs from the Audio 4 are connected to the Line inputs on your mixer, and that you selected Line as Input channels on the mixer of course.
