low audio on Android device

    Hi, i recorded my first vinyl to my laptop yesterday. It sounded perfect when played back on the laptop so I uploaded it to youtube. However, when i viewed the video on my Android device the audio was really low, other youtube video play perfectly.

    I've tested the original .wav file on my laptop again and it sounds perfect.

    I've emailed the .wav file to my phone and it sounds horrible, the volume is really low.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    This video seems to cover some of it, although the mixer uses a usb cable between it and my laptop.


    I'm using XLR cables between the mixer and KRK rokit 5 speakers, i'm not sure how the output would affect input though?

    Figured it out, dodgy wire in one of the deck phono cables going into the mixer, gave it a twist and the sound is now ok.
