Ok So I have 2 CDJ 2000's with a DJM 900 Nexus Mixer. When I go to play a song it sounds horrible. The problem is it says Low Input. I changed out all the cables and went and bought a Powered USB hub and it still says low input. The songs sound fine if I use a CD or USB stick so I know it has something to do with traktor. I am new to traktor so over the last few days I have been beatgriding all of my songs. Before I did this traktor worked fine. Now it doesn't so I must have changed a setting or something. Can someone tell me the settings I should have it set to when using it with the DJM-900 mixer?

Any Idea How to Fix This?

Pls. check the settings under: Preferences > Mixer > Level > Headroom. It's probably set to -6dB.
Set it to "None" for the hottest output without any internal headroom.

a friend of mine just got the 900 and said he had to switch the sample rate to 96000 and that helped.

Ok so both of the ideas did not work. I just went and bought a brand new mac book pro 2.8ghz with 8gb of ram. When I copied tractor over it worked perfect then it had me update fileController_Editor_143U_Mac.dmg and ever since then it went back to being complete crap. So how can I get this working. PLEASE HELP ME! I have had this since end of NOV and it has never worked

Sorry, I was a bit confused by the description.

"Low Input" is an error message during Calibration - you apparently have problems receiving the right level from your CD players.

Sometimes a short video can explain more than a thousand words. If you have a chance please show us how you have set up your system and under which circumstances the GUI displays "Low Input" in your case.

Two things seem to be wrong in your setup:

The interface is set up for timecode use, but you are not using timecode. I assume that when installing you have selected the wrong Layout option in the Setup Wizard.
To fix that, please re-run the Setup Wizard (via Help submenu) and after selecting the CDJ-2000's select the fifth layout option:
"2 Track Decks + 2 Sample Decks" (not the preselected one with "Scratch" in the name)

Secondly the pitched sound may come from a hidden key-lock factor, which was accidentally set.
To fix that, please un-hide the mixer, by selecting "Mixer" in the layout drop down in the upper, right part of the interface left of the magnification glass (it currently reads "Essential")
Then, in the mixer, check the position of the KEY knobs - they must be centered at 12'o'clock by double clicking them.

    Hope this solves your problems.

The second part is what happened when I did the update it locked the pitch all the way down and I never saw or noticed it
