would a intel core 2 duo T9900 run traktor timecode vinyl at lowest latency 32 samples without traktors load meter thing spiking ?

    No, most likely not.

The T9900 used to be top-of-the-line when it was released. But it was released a LOOOOONG time ago. Today, even entry-level CPUs such as the Core i3-4010U are faster. In other words, even the CPU found in a budget Inspiron 15 notebook which costs less than 400 USD/EUR/GBP is faster than the T9900.

In my experience, you need something a little better to even think about 32 samples. However, I should mention that the CPU is probably not the most important factor in determining latency. The sound-card driver matters most.

is that right... i got traktor 2.6.7 time code vinyl right now at 48 samples on a intel core 2 duo t7500 2.2ghz on windows 8.1 pro 32 bit runs fine no pops or drop outs.. can analyze a track with out that quick pause when finished while playing... so i was thinking the t9900 could handle 32 samples ... i try'd traktor on a intel core i5 560m using windows 8.1 running 32 samples ..it handled it but noticed only 2 cores were being used the other 2 showed no activity and were not parked so was thinking the core 2 duo t9900 at 3ghz using the 2 cores could handle it while the i5 560m clocks at 2.6ghz and handled 32 samples .. yah

any value below 128 does not make any sense (since that is technically the smallest chunk traktor can chew up) and only stresses your system for nothing.
