I downloaded Traktor for evaluation. I spent a bit of time playing songs and I was wondering if Traktor generates .m3u playlist files that can be easily played with iTunes.

I have noticed a folder called History in my personal user folder, but nothing that can be read easily.

Does Traktor generate such files? Is there any tools out there doing such operation?

    Thanks :D,

    R.

In the full version, you can do the following. (I cannot confirm if it works in the demo as well, but I would assume it does.)

Go to Explorer -> Archive and browse to the history you're interested in. Right-click on the history and select "Import to Playlists." The history will now show up as a regular Traktor playlist under the Playlists node. Browse to the playlist you've just created, right-click on it and choose "Export Playlist." In the popup-window, you can now select M3U as the format and go ahead with the export.

    Thanks :) It works.

Should be built-in in Traktor. is there any "community tool" that basically does that kind of transformation done by a regular, inspired user?

What do you mean "should be built in"?
Traktor can generate M3U files, was there something else you wanted?

There's the extensive manual that comes with Traktor, and there's also the Traktor Bible available.
Plenty of video tutorials on Youtube too.

I still don't get the what the OP is looking for.

Traktor uses NML playlists. iTunes use m3u playlists.
Traktor (as already explained) allows you to export m3u's to import into iTunes. Pretty swish in my opinion, i use this all the time.

Yes, you're in it. This is the Traktor community :)
