Very nice job to all the entrants. I've listened to about half so far, and they've all been quite nice. Definitely going to be hard to pick who to vote for!

Out of curiosity, what's your voting method guys ?
Do you pick one or two entry only (the only ones you consider should win) or do you upvote on everything you like no matter what (so it could be every tracks with no distinction) ?

I vote for multiple entries if I feel like they should win (3 max)

 

I won't say that but I'm curious.
Actually, in democratic countries, we are used to vote for only one person even if we just partially like him/her - and completely reject oter candidates even if we might like them a bit (or are not sure about who to choose). There are some other systems which allow multiple votes and then result in majority consensus, like the majority judgment. But it's not adopted at a large scale. Food for thought but slightly derailing from the topic.

 

Thanks Mick and all other participants! These beat battles are a great idea! This one encouraged me to finally finalise a beat to enter the competition!
So often I am working on good ideas but only rarely make it a complete song or beat!
I am more the traditional musician (guitars and keyboards) used to work with Logic. Maschine is relatively new to me (~10 months) and I am still learning. So these battles are also a good opportunity to improve my Maschine skills

I hope some of the people who don't usually do beat battles here feel inspired and keep entering in the normal battles throughout the year.

what a battle this is, the quality of some of the music has honestly surprised me and personally fired me up to create better music,track 17 for me is outstanding the production skills and content are on point as soon as my friends in the studio heard it they said...well you've lost this one lol but Im happy to loose to great production and in this months battle there is a lot of great production to loose to well done to everyone so far
