Mac 10.8 and Traktor

So I would just like to clarify this for myself, sorry if it repeats things already said:

10.8 on a non-USB3.0 mac with the beta driver works fine, but non beta (final release) drivers there are issues?

Also, out of you lot who have upgraded, have you noticed a significantly lower battery life? I know that has been an issue for some.

Does anyone have any news regarding the official release of a stable (not Beta) driver for Audio 8 (and the other affected products as well) under Mountain Lion?

Pro 2 & MAC OSX 10.8

I have just purchased a Macbook Pro i7, 2.9Ghz, 750Gb HD, 8Gb ram

I cannot load the Pro 2 software - error

Contacted NI. Was told to download the demo version, still an error.

Been asked if I cab revert to OSX 10.7.4 - It seems like a mission.

Hopefully a repair patch is released soon!

Anyone know if there are issues with Audio 6? Or a DB2?
Just ordered a DB2, now thinking of upgrading to both 2.5.1 and OSX 10.8

 

What's the go with the beta drivers?

Mods can you guys ask the developers? I won't upgrade my OS until the drivers are final, it's been a while now NI?

 

i can see no real issues with the beta-drivers, when i look at the forum, so i'd say, it's safe to just use them.

 

So NI should just release the full non-beta to make me happy no?

I'm guessing you're right, I do wish sometimes that NI would release a rough time that known updates/fixes will be coming. Not for new features (competitive reasons). Anyway looking forward to the next update

here my problem.
I buyed a 2nd hand kontrol s2 and I have a macbook pro with ML (10.8.4).
I tryed last driver avaliable for my s2 (1.0.8) but traktor didn't see it.
I tryed the following traktor versions: 2.0.3, 2.1.2, 2.5, 2.6...
So you all talks about a beta driver but I can't see it the driver download page...
can you send me the f******g direct link... I'm exasperated

 

the driver in question has been implemented quite some versions ago into traktor. if your problem persists, please contact the NI tech support!

 

The problem was the usb3 of mac. i istalled the last driver of kontrol s4 and at last traktor saw it... problem solved! :-D
