MAC- Komplete 9 ultimate library install issues...

    That's what I was afraid of. Without the NI service center registration for the whole package individual installations will not do.
    So we have to wait for NI support magicians.

    Same problem but i managed to install everything else but the west africa and vintage organs. Come on NI! I expected quality and now im waiting quick problem solving!

    Thanks for the input. I am going with the 9 instead. I think you are right about needing to have an older version first.

    When you have this problem, and are installing individual components. When a particular component fails, if you have a windows machine lying around, a quick way to check if it will be impossible to install that component is to do the following:

    1. Connect the drive to the windows machine
    2. Show all files and folders on the drive
    3. Search through the drive, and look for the individual "pkg" file of the component that isn't installing
    4. Open that .pkg file, and look for an archive called "archive.pax"
    5. Use WinRAR to run an integrity check on this particular "archive.pax" file. If you have a CRC check failure, this component will not install no matter what you do, and you're going to be stuck in the same situation I'm in

    The following components are not installing for me in Komplete 9, and all three are failing their integrity checks:
    Balinese Gamelan
    Scarbee Pre-Bass Amped (the archive.pax file from the bass Part 2 and Part 4 are both broken)
    Vienna Concert Grand

    It turns out that NI hard drives have different corrupt packages...

    I'm still waiting... I sent them my NI_info.zip generated by their Support Tool but nothing has come so far.

    Today I received a reply from the NI support. In my case they suggested deselecting Session Strings Pro and gave me download links to this library. Unfortunately, even when I deselect Session Strings my installation failed again. I also tried installing K9U upgrade with Kontakt deselected, but the result was the same. Then I selected only Kontakt libraries (except Session Strings) - another disaster.
    Now I'm waiting for another suggestion from the NI support team.

    Ah, i can't believe they haven't come back with a proper solution for everyone, too everyone. It's gonna take forever with DIFFERENT reply's to people!!

    I just wanted to added That I am another disgruntled customer. They should really offer download links to the sample libraries or an uncompressed folder called samples on the hard-drive

    The sad part is, in my case, this solution would work for my particular issue, but they haven't provided me with any links, and it's been 24 days now

    I'm still waiting for another suggestion and getting more and more angry. I guess that in my case, when nothing wants to install, they should send me a new and working drive.

    I have tried contacting NI 3 times and still no response. They are almost as bad as me trying to get my health insurance squared away. It amazes something I ordered almost 2 months ago I still can't use

    I feel your pain, is the same situation. Was hoping by now they would be back from Christmas and this would all be sorted. HURRY UP!!!!
