    Any recommendations for a soft sampler for MacOS X Jaguar that won't eat up lots of CPU?

    I just want something that will play back samples via MIDI, running in the background while running Traktor 2.5.3. Preferably something free! ;)

    I'm using a 1GHz G4 powerbook with 768MB RAM.

    Go to Apple.com and go to the Mac OS X downloads. I remeber having seen something that might work for you. I believe it is called something like miraton. I don't know if it does MIDI or if it will work for you, and the interface sucks, but I believe it is free. BTW, if you find anything you like, would you let us know. I have kind of been looking for the same type of thing, but have never really found anything I liked.
