Mac M1 Max (Monterey) - Traktor 3.5.2 hangs on startup

    Mac M1 Max on Monterey- Still cannot get Traktor 3.5.2 working. On first startup it asks for Beatport connections etc. I select "continue without link" and Traktor hangs. Cannot get any further. Tried removing and reinstalling but still hangs. Any solutions to this issue or do I need to wait for the next bug fix?

    If you can get into settings before it hangs, turn off Multi Processor support, that seems to be the fix for the Max and Pro variants.

    It worked! I first had to get past the connection dialogue. If I select "continue without link" it hangs but I select "connect with beatport then it allows me into the Traktor software. From there I deselect the multi processor support. It then hangs on exit so I need to force close. Next time opening it seems to work.

    Ugh and you'd think the PRO or MAX would just work better. Glad it's helped and I think this is on the road map for the devs. Hang in there.

    Can confirm this is happening to me as well, however there is no "connect with beatport" option. Only "Login" and "Try Link For Free" for each of Beatport-Link and Beatsource-Link. All 5 buttons just freezes the app completely.

    Do you also have the slow preferences window problem? It seems related. Wait a while and you can continue.

    As soon as the application launches, while the "Beatsource/Beatport Login Window" is open, I try to open preferences by hitting CMD+, and it pops up right away, but it closes right after opening.

    Initially, after installing and opening the app on Monterey, this freeze issue did not occur. I was able to import a collection file. But after analyzing for missing files, it produced the list of missing files, and as I clicked on "Remove Missing" the app froze for the first time. Now, it always freezes on the initial "Beatsource/Beatport Login Window" everytime.

    I'm wondering if it has something to do with the library or files that trips it up.

    Were any of you experiencing this freeze able to open the app and use it a bit? Or did it freeze up on your first open?

    Thanks c0nsul. I can confirm that setting the "Status.Multicore Support" value to "0" in the TSI settings file prevents the startup crash. For the latest version, the file is located at:

    /Users/[username]/Documents/Native\ Instruments/Traktor\ 3.5.2/Traktor\ Settings.tsi
    I fully understand it's not yet tested for Monterey, but at least I can play around with it for now. Thanks again!
