Mac OS 10.7.5 Controller Editor issues

Hi there,

Recently I've decided to wipe my mac clean, this involved completely erasing my harddrive. Prior to this wipe I had not yet updated my Mac OS to Yosemite, and while reading up on the pro's and cons of upgrading to Yosemite I decided that for safety I would stick with my trusted Mac OS 10.7.5.

Reinstalling my computer, of course, also meant reinstalling Maschine. The problem I'm stumbling upon now is that when I download/install the Controller Editor, it sais Mac OS X 10.8 is required. Searches for earlier versions of the Controller Editor seem futile. Also, I can't update my Mac any further, unless I get Yosemite -atleast so it sais.

Can anybody please help me? My fingers are itching to touch those pads again!

I have kind of the same problem!

I have an old mac pro with 10.7.5, I can not update yosemite or mavericks etc.....
I just bought the Maschine Studio with Maschine 2.0 and Komplete Selection.....
I can Install everything but not Maschine2.0 because it say it needs 10.8.....

but then Native Instruments says:

i gues i´ll just try deleting and installing again but why whywhy......

 

I had the same problem and emailed Native, They responded the same day with a link to Download an earlier version of maschine 2.0 that supports Mac OS 10.7 Here is the link that was sent to my email and it works. ENJOY!
