Is there anyone out there who can help me to get the headphones to work?

    iMac 10.5 Leopard
    Traktor LE
    Hercules Mk2

After many hours I have managed to get the Traktor software working (downloading the new Service download). After this the headphones just dont work through the Channels A or B....

    ...PLEASE HELP!

If you installed the latest OS X update (10.5.7) , you will also need to install the latest driver for the MK2 (v1.36), available from the support site:

    http://ts.hercules.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=2&fid=28&pid=200&cid=1

This driver corrects a problem introduced by the OS X update.

As for the audio configuration in Traktor , it should look something like this:

    DEVICE: Hercules DJ Console MK2

    Channel settings:

    Master Output

    0 : output 1
    1 : output 2

    Monitor output

    2 : output 3
    3 : output 4

Thanks fella. But this is so frustrating. I have downloaded the file installed and assigned the device...Now it only comes through my headphones! AAARRGGGHHH lol!

Have you any more good ideas?

    Cheers.

Everything is configured as in this documents?

    http://ts.hercules.com/faqs/eng/her_eng_00327.pdf

When you change the headphone switch to all positions , can you hear the appropriate source ( Deck A, B, the main Mix)?

    Where are your speakers connected?

Hi....thanks for the help so far! Still not working and I have followed these steps a number of times. Everything is set up as described.

My speakers are plugged into the back of the iMac.

If I change the Soundcard setting in Traktor to 'Built In Input (Aggregated)' then the sound comes out fine but I have no headphones....

The Midi setup is as the pdf...

    Once again thanks!

Well, if you select the MK2 as Soundcard, you must connect your headphone AND speakers to the MK2, not the iMac.

As you can see from the previous post regarding the Traktor configuration and the PDF , the speakers need to be connect to OUTPUT 1/2 (Master Output). Output 3/4 is linked to the headphone output of the MK2.
