Macbook Pro Retina 13" resolution issues with Traktor 2.6.2 update

Hi all,

Think i may have found another bug within 2.6.2, it seems the resolution settings dont seem to have any effect? since upgrading to the lastest version of Traktor the resolution seems to be stuck at the native resolution (1200x800 in this case for Traktor) changing to 1440x900 or 1024x768 doesnt seem to have any effect on the UI, i need to run at 1440x900 so i can fit everything i need onto the Traktor screen.

Anyone else experienced this issue? any ideas would be great

 

Nobody..? i have seen a few threads starting to popup regarding fullscreen viewing issues, I believe they are tied in the issue i am having.. Is anybody else running a 13" MBP Retina?

 

Did you try and do what I posted in the other thread? I'm not sure as I didn't upgrade on my MBP 13" since I won't be using it any more cuz of my new 11". On my iMac I'm still running older versions too...

Trial and error fixes issues sometimes. Try closing, quitting, minimizing, alternativaly try and dragging it into different desktop screens... Only what I can think of now. NI prob. has an issue with the software update, as previous versions don't tend to act so faulty.

Again, try my advice from the other thread.

 

This is a known issue and is also mentioned in the Readme.txt:

"- Preference option "Global Settings/Miscellaneous/Fullscreen Resolution" has no effect."

Which Readme.txt are you referring to? So what's the method to fix it in which case?

 

Workaround i have found for MBP Retinas is to run a scaled resolution in OSX (1440x900) which Traktor will follow. Although this is VERY annoying to do so each time i want to have a mix!

 

Workaround's are okay until the issue gets fixed. It gets annoying though. You're right. Thing is that this issue is taking a few quits and sometimes 5-10 minutes to "try" and fix it...
