Macbook pro retina 2015 and Native instruments soundcards

    Hello
    I will change my computer from an old macbook circa 2009 to the new Macbook pro retina 2015
    I read that there has been some issues with the retina and traktor scratch pro, knowing that i have an audio 8 soundcard

    another question, there are no problems anymore with the audio 8 with the usb 3 port on Mac ?

    these questions must have been treated before here but can't find the topics so thank for your help and patience

    running fine here with latest drivers. you need to disable filevault on mac though. otherwise the audio 8 won't work

    That said, I would really consider waiting for the MacBook refresh with Skylake processor architecture ..
    No date, but it will likely be a huge improvement for on CPU and GPU speeds while maintaining low power consumption and battery life. Plus a sh'tload of new connections with the new USB type C (through which Thunderbolt 3 will pass) and WiGig...

    So if you can wait until early 2016, you should ;)
