Machine 1 vs 2 and 1.8/Massive

    I am interested in getting Maschine to casually play and produce tracks. The learning curve looks shallow for a novice not looking to spend hours learning software tweaks and functions.

    My question is this: I can get a Maschine for $350 and 2 for $599. What are the differences and if I buy and register a Maschine 1 license will I still get massive in the 1.8 upgrade?

    Yep, you'll get Massive with 1.8 with both Maschines. The software is the same for both, only hardware differs. I thought about the MK2 but I just don't need coloured pads that much. I'd pick the MK1 for 350 bucks. :)
