Machine MK3 License Transfer

    Hello community,

    Machine MK3 has basically sold out in Australia so I found a listing of a guy who opened the package but changed his mind and I bought the Machine MK3 from him for almost retail price. I have all proof of purchase as I paid through COD via the post office.

    It arrived today but the seller and his partner have told me that they are unable to transfer the license in the license transfer menu online and have opened a ticket with Native Instruments to try and resolve this issue.

    I was wondering if there are any known issues with the transfer license of the MK3. Has anyone had an issue they can report?

    Hi,

    They are having problems with the transfer system, so as of now the only method to achieve the transfer is to remove the products completely from the original account and register them again on the new one. I know it because I had to get my products removed and they told me in the mail that there is a problem with their transfer system, so I don't think the seller is trying to scam you.

    Could you please tell me how long it took to have them remove the items from your account? From when you first opened the ticket.

    Opened the ticket on monday, products got removed today, so I guess it takes around 3-4 days, but I have to add that I also called the UK's customer support yesterday, so maybe that's the reason I got it solved today. Most probably the support staff is overwhelmed.

    That's the way most companies do it instead of them transferring it to the new person.
